 Puerto Angel, Oaxaca The village of Puerto Angel is the REAL Mexico. It is a sleepy fishing village with few paved streets. From the Inn you can hear the surf of the Pacific in the background mixed with the sounds of tropical birds, roosters, dogs, and village life. Puerto Angel has a variety of restaurants, a pharmacia, a post office, a travel agent, and a limited variety of shops. |

Phone/fax service is available at TelMex locations in the village. Puerto Angel has no bank and it is suggested that you exchange prior to arrival (get smaller peso notes i.e.$ 100,50,20), Payment for Inn charges are requested in pesos, US dollars or Travelers checks (exchange rate will vary). A ten percent gratuity for the staff is suggested for dining room charges. A gratuity left in the room at the end of your stay is appreciated by the maid service.
